Anyone in Windsor area good with Nikki carbs?

Just having a bit of trouble with my Nikki, looking for a little help with idle issues. I've been trying myself using resources on the forum but I'm still struggling. And I can't see to find anyone in the area that has the knowledge.

Check out www.sterlingmetalworks.com if you haven't already. There is a ton of info there.

I don't know about you guys, but hearing or reading the name "Nikki Carbs" always makes me think of a fat stripper, LOL. Might just be my odd mind.

Not yet, I think it's my accelerator pump for sure. But of course my fuel pump dies randomly. I replaced it 6 years ago but maybe it wasnt a good one. Just trying to decide which pump to get and where to buy it. Suggestions? I have a Mallory regulator already.

I think the Holley blue pump is pretty good, if its still available. Haven't even looked for such things in a while lol. Last I checked, the holley pumps are about the best deal going besides "no name" pumps, and with those you don't know what your getting really. A lot of the companies just rebadge other well known company pumps as well. For example, I have a high pressure Holley pump here, only thing saying it was a Holley was the the box it came in. I peeled back the foam isolator from the body and found its actually a Walbro pump, a very well respected company. IIRC, the Holley pump was actually cheaper than the equivelent Walbro branded pump as well.
