I drove to Ottawa with my black FD because I wanted to purchase a set of forgestar rims. Spent a fortune in gas, because I wanted to make sure they fit the car before I bought them. When I got there I discovered that I left my key at home for my lock nuts. I bought them regardless. I could have just brought my damn echo.

The high light of the trip was a Audi TT-S wanted to race. It didn't go well for him

Ps drive safe.

Yah, I got it. Still at Dave's, the stupid Haltech won't let you Pick distributer mode when using an RX-8 trigger wheel. We hacked up 2 trailing coils to run without the toggle (basically direct fire) for the trailing and ran with wastespark mode and working correctly. Now trying to figure out the pulley timing marks being in the wrong place. We tried something but its late so called it a day. Also messed with Bruno's car a bit and then realized the boost controller wasn't raising boost, fixed the wastegate/solenoid connections but still not working so going to try a manual boost controller tomorrow. Long day.

Anyway, usual stuff

Maybe. would need an air pump and EGR. Running closed loop would help but not required.

Glad your happy with it Nick

I didn't get to tune Bruno's car. After tuning Nick's, I had to wait 3 hours for him to get off work and then I started looking at the weather and chance of rain. I was also pretty tired and felt dirty wearing the same clothes for 4 days! so decided to head home.

But also, before I got to highway 417 I think, I saw a red FD parked in front of a shop with some wheels on it. Anyone on here? I think it was the same red FD I saw when I was in Ottawa last time tuning galvatron's FD. I considered pulling over to say hi but felt like *** with probably smelly clothes, messy hair, and a big beard!

I see that FD every morning on my way to work parked at the garage on Bronson, and often wonder if it's in the process of being repaired or if it's the owners car. Never stopped to see though!

Yup, really happy about the tune. Thanks for sticking around to get it done.

Pretty much all catless rotaries will fire a fireball under certain conditions. Especially turbo's since they run richer.
