anyone know where to purchase aftermarket rim key/sockets

i recently got a flat tire and cant find the key for my super advan 3's
anyone no a place or website to order another set of keys or any local place that does that?

by a "key" do you mean for tuner lugs (spline-drive) or a key for wheel locks?

If you need a wheel lock removed I'm not sure who to call, but I bet a local tire shop could direct you to the right place. You should probably have all 4 removed since it'll probably cost you the same amount.

For spline drive sockets, any part store can get them.

It happened to me. You can't order a key and if the lock is smaller then the tire shops "tool" ( which consisted of a easy out on steroids). If you still have your box from the locks you might have some luck. They are almost all different so similar but so different. I spent hours grinding mine out with a die grinder and distroying a socket by hammering it on. START LOOKING FOR YOUR KEY.

yea i mean my wheel lock, ah crap, i already looked for hours, basically teared my whole garage down and every tool box i have

Did you check your car? That's usually where you should keep the key no? Sometimes people forget about the obvious place

What's your particular lug look like? If they're motegi's, those key's are everywhere, if you have volks, well, those are near impossible to find for just the key alone, mcguards are fairly common too.

Take a picture of your lug nuts, I might have a key for you to borrow

Just go to a competent tire shop. Anybody worth their salt will ahve a lock nut removal kit, or at least have the capability to get it off. Sometimes depending on how it sits in the wheel you have to weld a regular wheel nut onto the lock nut (it'll also happen if some doughhead has torqued them down to a billion foot pounds)

But not a huge deal. Then when you buy replacement ones - LEAVE THE KEY IN THE GLOVE BOX OR SPARE TIRE TOOL COMPARTMENT!!

I forgot to take it off the nut once and drove away. Found it beside the curb two blocks away. The next time I wasn't so lucky. They were cheap rims, so an air chisel worked.

Wheel Locks

I just had a wheel lock-nut removed by my local tire shop. Snap On makes a set of wheel lock/nut removers.
They are a hardened 3-4 inch long tapered tube with a socket drive hole on opposite end. There are about 5 sizes in the kit.
They place it on the nut and hammer it on, then it comes off no prob.
Took the guy 5 mins. to get his gear out and do it. They charged me $10.00 which would be far less than the tool kit from snap on.
Then I threw all the wheel locks in the garbage.

i gone through the whole car bout 3 times in total, found some wierd things under the seats but no keys, mazdees gone through my car twice but nothin,
gone through my toolboxes again, still nothin, guess ill try wheel direct tomorrow, thanks for the ideas guys!
