Isn't that Cody Welsh's car? IIRC it used to be lightly modified despite what the ad says. It's been listed for sale foreeever. For at least as long as I've owned my 7, which is about the time of my join date <<<<<

Looks respectable. Can't really tell too much from the pics. Gotta see it in the flesh.
wouldn't hurt to take a look.

Cody's car is in the Canadian classified section listed as a 93 fd for sale ....don't think I've seen this car in person either but it does look clean.

Hey that's not my old fd. It was a 93 with about 180k. That looks like a pretty clean fd though

I'll let you guys know about my findings. This will be the 3rd FD I'll be pursuing of course pending my very detailed examination. Depending on how co-operative the current owner is.

It's been winter driven before there's some rust issues driver quarter panel. Exterior is very rough and he has no proof of the rebuild. Stock water temp gauge was sitting a big high when i let it idle. Brake fluid was dirty so was the oil it doesn't look like it's been maintained well he isn't owned it for that long. On the test ride diff bushing seemed to be shot it has the infamous "rear clunk"

I know the car, as my shop did the latest service work on it (Pfaff Tuning). It came to us for install of a body kit which never happened due to the price we quoted. While we had it we did some maintenance work on it, however, the owner (nice guy but not a true rotard like many on here) turned down a substantial amount of the work we quoted to get the car running and driving perfectly again due to the cost.

We put new OEM replacement coils in the car, fixed a vacuum issue, installed new spark plugs, and did some dent removal. I asked about the motor being rebuilt, and I think the guy said it was "all original" which led me to believe initially that it hadn't been rebuilt??? Also, it may have been in a minor fender bender at some point in the left rear.

Kind of sounds like it needs a lot of work (or may soon) for a nearly $16,000 ask. That should get a pretty nice FD these days, though maybe not one well-modded.

I looked at a silver FD 4 years ago from a member (20b-3rotor's I believe may be wrong, he was in Oshawa) sure looks like the same car. Rusty rear wheel wells, bone stock.
