It's you Siritus aint it? You bad little street racer you....LOL.
If it's not you, I take that back...lol.
Can anyone verify if that s5 was turbo? If that IS the case,
my NA engine with rx-8 compression is at least equal to, or
if not, exceeding a stock tII.... watch the first 30s.... I reeled
in his lead like you'd reel in a fish on a hook.

Fair enough, I just didn't see it as a good comparision to see if you are faster than a TII that's all.
Looking at the video again, it's looks like a Non-Turbo (a base or a GX) to me. All S5 Turbos and GXL comes equipped with a factory wing and most people don't remove it. Did it have a hood-scoop or a large more aggressive front air dam?
Syrtis's car is a white S4 Turbo, so it wouldnt have been him unless he painted the black trim all along the car and got S5 Lights.
You should put your setup on the dyno, would be interesting to see what power it puts down along with the power-band.

Could be a turbo swap into a GX or GXL. You can get a nice 300+ Setup these days for around $5000.
Judging by the exhaust, I'd have to lean more toward TII. I've noticed over the years most people (with the exception of crtl) put very little money into their N/A cars and keep their stock duals to the grave.

I took ctrl's car for a little spin today. I must say I originally underestimated his engine. It was very VERY smooth and pulled evenly upto 8000 RPM. It builds speed very quickly and evenly in all gears.
With a standalone and custom intake manifold, this car could really haul for an N/A.
Its a very pleasent, smooth car to drive. Excellent Daily driver. Its really fun to drive.

Needless to say, his car is one of the loudest, yet most rotary sound I've heard in along time.

I've got a presilencer alright.... has the tube that runs back to open the secondaries, then t2 y-pipe for bigger diameter, (and future upgrades... ie: t2 swap)
IOW, everything silencer and forward is NA, anthing silencer back is turbo version,
including exhast cans.
