ok I am back home now and had some time to think a bout my times.
First the details.
R/T .772 <-----I think I must have been at the hot dog cart getting some grub lol
60' 2.961
330 6.863
1/8 9.976
MPH 83.99
1000 12.512
1/4 14.611
MPH 108.65
So here is how I am making myself feel better - kinda......
*If anyone with a heart beat drove my car they could have got a decent reaction time.
*I bogged it coming off the line so that too has some area of improvement. Thankfully the twins boost quickly because it got me back in business.
*Finally I missed 3rd gear.
I feel if I had an opportunity to run it a few more times I could have easily resolved the three significant mistakes above. Having said that I feel I could have dipped in to the low to mid 13 range and be at 110MPH.
What do you guys think, is that possible?
And for some really good news despite my opponent ( older supra ) having a R/T of .120 I still kicked his *** and that's what matters! hehe

We bought had black FD's, and pushed them to the start line lol. I did see one other 7 but it do not think it was blue.....
I only went two times because my wife and kids were getting irritated. First time I rev'd the **** out of it, and had some great wheel hop all through second gear PLUS I MISSED THIRD.
Second time I did the above where I got 14.6. And you know what I MISSED THIRD AGAIN. I must be a retard.
fdz4me stayed back and did a few more runs. Smart guy didn't bring his family. I won't steal his thunder. I will let him post his times

For my first time at the track I think I did ok. My best was a 13.7 at 104mph. After my third run I was starting to get more comfortable with the lights and was getting a better launch. I wish I could of had a few more runs in to try to better my times, there is still room to improve. I also wish I had video of me out launching a new 911 turbo on my last run, he must of **** his pants.
It was fun and I will b trying it again.

Put up the info on your time slip. You killed me with a slightly lower top end speed. I should have let you drive my car
When we go again let's get there slightly earlier so we can get more runs in!

people drive there cars there and drive them home....then push them in the staging lanes?? lol
there were mostly bikes, supposed to be a big bike event saturday so everyone was camping out for that.
CSCS people may come today. but the majority is sunday morning. Going to be PACKED!
im deffinatly going to be there.

I can not do this wednesday because it is my son's bday.
I pushed the car for a few reasons....
1) I have read too many horror stories of people sitting in traffic, and the car heat soaks. When the traffic lets up they jab the skinny pedal, and blow the engine because the cars intake temps were high, thus reducing the gas.
2) It gets very hot, and stinky as **** sitting in an FD for too long when it is idling
3) I am not keen on idling any car for 15-20 minutes
4) If the car is cooler is suppose to make more power
If I had idled the car for that long I would have had an intake temperature of around 60 degrees. As it turned out my first run I was around 45, and my second I was 34. I am not interested in blowing up my car, so I will take every precaution I can. Besides it gave me a bit of exercise
Can we do Thursday instead of Wednesday???

This is the info on my best run.
R/T .084
60' 2.214
330 5.975
1/8 9.006
MPH 82.64
1000 11.570
1/4 13.744
MPH 103.79
I'll also add that my neighbor came with me and was helping push the car and when we came up to the line he would jump in. I didn't have the heart to kick him out. So I had some added weight and I also have a tired stock clutch that I fell slip when especially when I try to hit third and fourth hard. I guess it is time to install the clutch and lightened flywheel that have been sitting in the garage for a few years.
