Hey, yeah so I know this is probably a really dumb question, and maybe I'll get burned for asking this question but...are there any RX7 meets here in Toronto?

 

Not this time of the year

 

We usually have two meets, one during the spring and one during the summer.

 

sometimes random gatherings between few of us during the summer for photoshots, coffee, chit chat and such

 

ahh, really? Alright then! Thanks a lot guys! I want to be in on some of the meets, since I want to get to know you guys a bit more, and just chill. Well, we'll wait till spring time or something then! Let me know when there is a meeting? I'd love to come and hang out with you guys a bit!

Meets kind of dry up when it gets cold since a lot of us store the sevens in the winter.

Having said that, nothing wrong with meeting up at a nice warm place without the cars. RX-7 club night out, so to speak.

I agree with you there sir, I was thinking of organizing a get together at a go-karting place...say downsview? I think that would be fun

 

well we try to have cruises because meets are weak, and no one really shows up these cars aren't meant to sit in a parking lot you are supposed to drive them, people even complain when they have to drive here for an awesome cruise you just can't please some people!

As for the cruising thing...if I had a 7 I would definitely go cruising with you guys! I don't have a 7 yet...maybe not even next year (since I am still in my last year of university then), but maybe the year afterwards? But we will see how things turn out at home and my own personal financial situations! I hopeeee!!!!

i went to the last one i think at scarborough mazda , not with my seven tho , i couldnt get it running that day but next year ill bring mine over lol

 

Nope, not anymore. I used to own an S13, but then that car died on me, and though I wanted to fix her up, but...1) I did not have the money (since I am still in school, and isn't working). 2) my mom wanted me to get rid of the car. So...it sucked to let her go, but it was for the best, since there was no more space on the driveway and garage for another car, so it is for the better.

As for now, I am just driving my mom and dad's camry and I don't see much of a problem now, since winter is coming and everything; it is much more practical that way.
