We keep them that way so we can pick up the girls. Also, they are cheaper on insurance (no clue why) and they hold their value better than a bank bond. You'll never see verts as cheap as they are right now, and will be the most sought after rx-7 in the future (colecting wise, also in my mind) as there was few built to begin with, most are parts out, or wrecked, and the few left are mostly s5's. You may not think so, but look at Barret J, vert prices across the board are way higher than most cars ( except for co-po's). Disclamer: This might not be right, but hey, everyone said square p-ports wouldn't work either.

I'd like a VERT as a nice, cruise around on a summer evening with a chick, car. Women don't like my T2

Your vert barely has am motor, let alone an ems.

I loved driving the vert around town, the top down, it was fun to just drive around in, with a tii motor, it would be so much fun.

No not really. Turbo verts drive like honda's, itll be understear through every corner.
A full exaust, ported intake and some fuel work will give it t2 power with a very tail happy personality.

HAHAHA Tii power with an exhaust, and fuel ok..... The car wasn't responsive at all, took like 5 minutes to hit redline, needs a lightwieght flywheel for sure, with 240hp a vert would be insanely fun, adding some suspension willfix the understeer problem, it's not fwd, so it will never drive like a Honda.

Maybe if the Vert didn't have your supersized fatass in it, it would be more responsive...?

You could almost say that a vert is slower than a Protege with 4 people in it, eh Mike?

Kevin, buy that car and let me borrow it for a week so i can try to get some action...heh...

but seriously, if you already have a turbo FC, a vert would be a nice second car (well, sort of). no need to turbocharge it and make it useless and expensive for comfortable daily driving

Don't make fun of my old car beeaatch. That thing put down 267 to the wheels with a stock S4 turbo on the same dyno you ran on last year. That vert was anything but slow.
