Abbey Road Auto; Conversions

so i asked how much it might cost for him to do a conversion on my 88 n/a. he told me that if i had the parts to do it, it would be 600. i dont think he relizes that hes going to have to fabricate **** to make it work also. just to let any of n/a guys who dont have time to work on there car, like myself, he'll do it but dont know how long he'll take?

If he has to fabricate parts then you haven't provided all the parts.

Are we talking about going turbo?

We're talking about a full conversion w/ t2 drivetrain? I don't see any fabrication happening. Unless it means turboing your n/a engine.

Are you going to use the N/A intake manifolds or are you going to use the TII intake manifolds.

I still dont get what hes trying to do. In all fairness, it would be much easier and cost effective to just swap in a whole TII motor and stuff.

i have a 5 speed tranny with eveything u need to go 5 speed...i think hes taking about the tranny mounts...the auto mounts are closer to the engine bay..or its the other way...i think thats what hes talking about. which needs fabrication and welding..

man make it easy on ur self and sell ur car and buy a turbo 5 speed...trust me..oh yeah make sure u always have another car as a back up when u drive a rx7..lol

Hey hey hey, don't say that too loud. My car might hear that and get her feelins hurt.

Aside from alternator and a blown coolant hose I haven't had one prob with my RX.
