The other car did 13 seconds lol.

Why do they open the doors after they do a burnout? Does it get smokey inside or something?

In a race car the rear wheel tubs they fabricate/install aren't always sealed to the body and smoke enters the cabin. That's why the doors do the chicken dance to help evacuate the smoke.
