2010 FULL track days now available from Club ONEtwoNINE!!!
We started hosting track days last year, we held 2 events and they were both very successful! Everyone had a ton of fun, there are limited spots and it is a FULL DAY event, so you get all the track time you want! We limit the number of spots available to 20 cars, so everyone has the most amount of track time possible.
All our event are held at Mosport DDT and we normally run one direction in the morning and the reverse in the afternoon just to keep it challenging and exciting!
I know there was some interest from a few people here last year, so I wanted to get this up early because spots are expected to sell out for all dates, and I would love to get a few more RX7's out there! I will be out there again with my FC, and we are expecting the V8 FD back along with a stock RX8, so come out and have some great fun!!!!!
Cost is $220 / car -FULL day remember 9am-5pm Limited to 20 spots!
Dates:
May 23rd
July 18th
September 12th
To sign up Contact Jordan 416.721.2208 or tryte@rogers.com
If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Spots are already filling up nicely, I know it seems like a long way off, but May will be here before you know it! Don't miss out! I'm really hoping to get a few more RX7's out there.

yes DDT is the smaller track, its a great track for cars that handle well, its tight and technical, and a ton of fun!
May date is just about sold out, maybe one or two spots left, and the other dates are all at least half full!

I'll be there for sure, and I think there are at least one are two other RX7's signed up too. If you want in on the May date I would say act quickly because it really is close to full! Can't wait to see another FC out there with me this year!

The May date has 2 FD's coming, one with a LSx swap.
Its free to come out and watch if anyone is interested in that. See some nice cars turning some hot laps, talk to the drivers, maybe even get a ride in a car if you can sweet talk your way in.

I highly doubt I'll make it to the first one, I still need to install my coil overs, and shocks, along with fixing up what is all left from the front end, then go for an alignment, then from there its onto the corner weight scales, and last but not least, i still need to toss my shocks on a shock dyno. I need to fabricate a mounting hardware for that too, to accept my shocks.
BTW, if anyone is interested, in a few months we will most likely be offering shock dyno services at the University of Western Ontario and I'll most likely be doing most of the work myself. We're still unsure on price of the service. We bought a new Roehrig Machine towards the end of last year, and instead of just using it as a tuning machine for their FSAE car shocks, we plan to hopefully get some extra income from it to go towards the FSAE project cars for further years.

What an awesome day. Can you say breaking in an engine the right way! 1000km street km no boost or a few 2psi pulls. Take her to the track and its all good. Car is more fun to drive at DDT then my 400rwhp car. (Mosport is a different story )
270KM of track time. I am so tired. Car ran like a champ and the best part of the day was playing out on the track with nos_fx.
There were about 5 rx7's with one V8.
Thanks club ONEtwoNINE for the awesome event.
I highly recommend you guys to show up. Its too bad the sherway meet was happening because "maybe" we would have more rotarys show up.
Lots of S2000 and tureno (Spelling?) toyoto's. Corvette etc etc.
And again. 270km of track time. WTF! that's insane..... Can't say I've actually looked at the KM before but I am pretty sure that is alot!

Yup, our first day was a major success. Everyone had a great time. I know my best part of the day way playing catch and chase with IAN, I had to get everything I could out of my NA S4 to keep up, but boy was that a ton of fun!!!
We had 5 RX7's out (3FD's 2FC's) so that was awesome to have so many out. I hope more RX7's will make it out to future events, I think it would be great if we could have all 3 generations out at the same time!
Thanks to everyone who came out, it was a great day.
Don't forget we still have 2 more days this summer, and there are a few spots left, but they are selling like hot cakes now. This event sold out, and I won't be surprised if the other 2 sell out long before the date!!! We had to turn away a lot of people for this event, so don't wait to get your spot reserved.
I'll post up some pics for the event this week.

There is lots of interest, thats no problem at all. Its just finding the time in the summer to do it. Jordan, my buddy in the corolla that hosts them with me is getting married this summer, and he just moved into a new house, we are going to the F1 race in Montreal in a few weeks, I got posted to CFB Edmonton, so I'm moving out there at the end of the month. There is just no time for us to host another day.
I won't actually be at the day in July, and there is a slim chance I'll be at the one in September because I'm moving out to Edmonton.

Nope, no special license required, and your S4 NA will be great! I have a S4 NA, and I love it on the track. As long as your car is in sound mechanical shape you can take it on the track, we have everything from bone stock to wild mod'd cars come out. Its all just for fun, and your S4 will give you lots of that, trust me!
