lost our beloved Barney after 13 years of faithful companionship following a serious seizure just a week before christmas.

BEST 2006
It's a tie, first having an artist capture both Barney and Shilo in pastel on a poster for my wife at christmas just 3 weeks before he passed and second bringing little Gretchen into our lives.

 

Resolution:
Get a new job

Breaking up with GF
Having to quit my 2nd job in 3 years
Screwing up my RX-7 with stupidity

Finish my turbo 1st gen... and get ingaged...(I have a feeling only one of these can happen in 07...)

blowing side seals on my rx-7, speeding tickets, loss of too many friends.

Met my current g/f, found sufficient parts to rebuild my rex

 

Resolution for '07: Get my **** finished, and maybe MAYBE make more than $10k in a year for the first time.

hit the track more (autocross, track days, etc.), do good on all my courses to get my degree, and live healthier

all the sleep i didn't get, not getting enough exercise...not having a girlfriend, haha (some might say that is good)

being able to drive my car whenever i wanted to (especially my car being able to do an 8 hour trip to the Bruce County meet)...and enjoyment everytime

Get work to pay for me to go back to college, being a college drop out kinda sucks/Get College Diploma, and get an apprenticeship.

Blowing my engine, normally people wouldn't say that, but it has allowed me learn alot about my car, and I know now I can basically do anything, other than body work.

Drinking so much rye with the RPM boys, I put holes in my esophagis and now I can't drink for the rest of my life

Finish College, Get a good job, get my car painted and do some new crazy things.

Best:
Flying to Montreal for a weekend to see Joe Satriani in concert and buying my RX-7 of course.

Worst: Losing my position at work over union crap to some royal F**k up that got canned anyways 2 months later.. Grr

Start putting a serious effort towards my studies.

Finishing Mechanical Engineering/Design Program at Sheridan with Honours (wasn't hard actually). Getting a job as a Project Manager. Starting University at McMaster to eventually obtain a P.Eng.

Worst of 2006:
Parents divorcing, losing my dog after almost 15 years.
