2-tone 1st gen?

the paint on my hood and roof has seen better days from sitting out in the sun but the rest of the body is in great shape....

was considering just painting the hood, roof and behind the hatch...and maybe a different colour (currently sparkling black metallic). it has the burg interior... not sure what colour would work....

i might just repaint the whole car, but looking to save some money since it also needs brakes, and suspension...

any ideas?

Well, first off, we need a pic of the current condition of the car... it's been so long since we've seen you or the car!

I think there was a 2 tone option back in the day when this was popular. Thing is, if it was still popular the manufacturers would still be do'in it. Gary

well there are plenty of mfr's doing two tones still...its just become a not-so-common option on cars.......more of a truck thing nowadays

But the first gen has some good lines to divide two tone......depending on the colour scheme it can be made quite attractive.

But as with anything paint/colour on a vehicle - some think fugly, some think Godly - it all depends on what you want

If you are going to paint, I'd say do the whole thing. Easy for the painter and you wouldn't have to try and repaint the lower half of the car later on.

Ya, still happy with it... How's 40,000km in 2 summer season's hit ya.
Think I like it.
I took that thing to NLFD within the 1st couple months that I had it.

But I agree w/ya. A renesis in a frist gen w/a nice suspension setup would be sweet.
Got any pics of you GSL-SE as your car looks now?

no new pics at the moment... from the side it still looks great... the top of the hood and roof look like those crappy chrysler van paint jobs from the 80's .... it's sad.
