13bre torque specs

Does anyone knows the engine torque specs for the cosmo motor, specially the front eccentric shaft bolt . thanks in advance
1- follow rew specs
2-follow t2 specs

I recall something about using loctite too. I forget which colour.

The torque on that bolt is not critical. Anything from 80-120 FT-LBS is fine. Any more and you can start to distort a bit of the front stack.

90 FT-Lbs is a happy medium and what I use (also I think it's closest to factory). The key though is to use Loctite. Use blue if you intend to be the next person to tear down the engine, red if it's going to be someone else's job.

Last guy who rebuilt my motor used RED. Lets just say if I ever find out who it was, they owe me a breaker bar.
