Shhhh.. If you say too much, adam might accuse us of making you up just to stir the crap around.. Apparently, some of us have been doctoring pictures and motor teardowns to try and make him look bad

but whatever, this isn't an adam thread.. best of luck with your FD.. I hope you manage to get it back on the road in time to partake in the meet

I think I can vouch for the organizers when I say there will be quite a few people there. Needless to say most of the other clubs have a younger crowd, and much more reliable cars.

I've been dealign with adam for a couple of years now and i've never had a problem with him. although he is hard to get a hold of. He's crazy busy ALL the time though. adam said that if they're was enuff interest in this event he's try to get his car moving but, I wouldn't count on it, we're WAY too busy with clients and seeing as we don't have any other major sponsers. he doesn't seem to intrested.
I'll be coming unless unforseen complications come up, ie my car isn't finished in time. Unless Adam says otherwise, I'll be they're as myself and not as rx7 specialties. now is someone was kool enuff to drive a mazda, he'd wanna come to but instead he'll be making love to the single wheel he just got. hehe
I'm so excited about this and it's over a month away. crazy, no?

Calgary has never had an organized rotary club.. that's just sad..
There are definitely enough rotaries in the city to make it possible.. however, the closest thing we have come to one has been the sporatic little mini meets we started to organzise about 3 years ago..

We have a dedicated rotary shop in the city.. I'd say almost 90% of the rotaries in this city have been through rx-7 specialties hands at one point in it's life.. I don't understand why I have never seen any attempt for the shop to hold or sponsor any events to bring the rotary crowd together.. rx-7 specialties is in no way obligated to do any such thing, but I figure that it would be a nice gesture to promote the product that they service...

But as Nubian and the other guys proved at the glenmore park meet.. organized gatherings can happen without the help of the only rotary shop in town..

Plans for a rotary dyno day are still a go.. If there is enough interest and commitment from at least 8 other people, then it will be a reality..

now i'm rambling..

I never bought this car because it was reliable.

Hopefully there are a few NA guys there that I can hang with. Maybe I'll even get to see tail lights from some of the boosted 7's.

i'll be there for sure, even if my car is running like ****... i love these cars aside from all the headaches. and believe me, Adam knows who i am and i have the recipts to prove he did the work so this is no joke. i am not saying dont go to Adam, because he knows his ****, but i had alot of bad experiences there and if he gets mad about me telling people then **** him, it's his own fault.
