I have been working with Landon in setting up the site so I've been lucky enough to come along for the ride and I am so excited to see his products getting out there!

Iduley, Here is duplicolor's offerings. Vinyl & Fabric Coating - Aerosol | Dupli-Color You might be able to prime the piece, or cover with a black before the maroon to adjust the shade?

possible? the biggest issue with the maroon interior is some parts sun fade faster/worse than other pieces, and trying to match it so it doesn't bother what little OCD I have, is tough lol

Buy the maroon paint and just paint everything so its all the same shade! #problemsolved

Got the vents painted and installed for the front. Very hard to tell they are aftermarket untill you look at my mis-matched screws.

It was at this time that I added foam to the top and bottom of the panel. The factory puts some and i doubled up as well as added some to the bottom where the clips are that go into the dash. So far the rattles in the interior have dropped SUBSTANTIALLY! Huge victory, I'd say.

And last but not least, a real Infini and a 89/90 vert with 71k miles! They drove up from florida for the east coast rotary classic. Hopefully it'lll be even bigger next year!

Still working on getting the black T2 together. Turbo is in, the injectors should be going in this week, as well as the ECU harness. Once I get that done I can finish up any vacuum lines and toss the UIM on and just about be wrapped up.

FINALLY received the stinkin harness after a shipping address mishap. Injectors are in the car. The harness is ready to be dropped in and the fuel system should be ready for a pressure test this weekend. A friend is dropping off a good used battery for the car as well so that'll be a big help. I've had little motivation to really work on this thing lately and I'm ready to be done and get rid of it. It's been fun but man its really drained me and my account.

I also managed to pick up the same set of slicks I had used 2 years ago. Glad to finally have them in my possession.

The NA car now has over 2000 miles on the new motor and is running great. A couple minor squeaks and rattles I'd like to attend to at some point. The Turbo swapped car will be getting attention here soon as well. I need to get that ready for a meet in august.

Small bits of progress. Tore my vmount apart to install a new fan to hopefully help keep temps in check. Next step is to install the LRB Speed aluminum understray and figure out where to mount the oil cooler. You may also notice I acquired an early 86 coolant overflow bottle to get that out of the vmount's way. I doubt it made much of a difference, but every little bit counts.

Still have a FFE trigger kit and MS3pro to drop in, as well as a mustang TPS to get full range.

They are really nice. Perfect height really. I wish they had flat tops.

I managed to move the oil cooler a bit more forward and away from the radiator. This should help the radiator suck less hot air . am I the first to install a FMOC?

The oil cooler will have a bracket and basically rest on the LRB Speed undertray. I need to make up a new short oil cooler line since it no longer reaches. The rear is good since they made it TOO long when it was first done.

Also, does anyone know where I can find this stupid white plug? I cant find it anywhere and I cant justify spending $25 for 2 of these stupid things just to get the plug.

I think i've lost some patience when it comes to googling and reading through threads. Thanks for the find!!!

I placed the order for 2 connectors...shipping cost more than the connectors. sigh.

After years of people telling me to get aero mirrors, I managed to trade a set of S5 tails for a pair of mirrors. They are noticably heavier than the manual mirrors. Has anyone successfully swapped mirror guts?

Also MAJOR PROPS TO AUTOMOTIVE TOUCH UP! $20 for a can of paint matched spray paint, as well as $7 for primer, and another $7 for clearcoat. I used about half a can of each to do the mirrors. I plan on buying another can of each and attempting to do the drivers side fender on the NA car. I am super please with how these turned out. Still need to take an hour or so and buff them with some polish, but here is the finished product!

Maybe next time! We are leaving for the beach this saturday.
We are doing an auto-x at dover speedway in a few weeks as well. First time for me, second time for the wife. She will take the NA again, and I'll be in the turbo car. Too excited! What class would my car be in? I have stock rims with some star specs I'm going to put on. obviously turbo, v mount, poly bushings with adjustable shocks and springs.

Question for those who do body work: The sunroof , A pillar and other spots have some clear coat peeling. How can I blend the spray paint and clear into the existing bodywork without re-doing the whole panel/car? LOL

Back from vacation, and managed to get a little bit of work in over the long weekend. Both cars have fresh brake fluid, and I managed to install my fancy purple calipers I had painted over a year ago. Currently waiting on ordering some fresh rotors to install a set of Hawk's pads on. I'd much rather break-in a set of good pads on new rotors than these which have a slight warp to them.

What are a good set of small diameter tuner lug nuts? These autozone lug nuts SUCK and some tuner style lugs may not fit from what i've read about these rims...

Here's a crappy photo thanks to the way the sun was coming down.

Saturday was a success. Both cars ran flawlessly. Oil temps would rise by the third run up to about 180*, but nothing got out of hand. There are 2 small spots at the bottom of the radiator i'd like to close up, but all in all the vmount is a lot more sealed off than before, and it really shows. The oil cooler being moved forward has helped a bunch.

The wife had a good time, she is still very cautious and hardly pushes the NA We may have had a fuel sloshing issue with her around the one corner, 2 times she said it stalled on her. I wasnt riding with so I dont know what she was doing. My car did good, but could have been better if I had a LSD. A few times I'd try to get on the power and the inside wheel would just spin

We had some rain after the first run group, so they set the fastest times of the day. We were ill prepared and had to work in the pouring rain. we were drenched.

Here are some pics!

doesn't look bad at all. Your car sounds faster than mine haha

the course looks nice and sweepery and pretty open, definitely better than most autocross courses I see groups set up.

your wife might have been locking up the brakes and not noticing. if you lock up the brakes in gear it'll stall the engine.

Thanks! This is their biggest event, the previous one is a lot smaller, and I dont know how well I'll do with the manual rack there. Time to start lifting weights

I can almost guarantee its not faster, it doesnt spool till almost 4000rpm and being large streetport it has no low/midrange power...

No way she was going fast enough to lock up the brakes, but good thought! I think she may have put the car in neutral and with the lightweight flywheel sometimes it doesnt catch it in time. She has a bad habit of putting it in neutral coming into the C boxes.

Got a thumbs up from the wife to do a track day Halloween weekend. A couple small things to do before then. Those items would include the heatshield under the transmission/driveshaft, resurfacing front rotors, and tidying up some wiring. The event will be at NJMP's Thunderbolt track. Same track I drove 2-3 years ago before turboing the car. It should be interesting to see how it compares having upgraded everything on the car since then. This time I'll make sure the gopro is placed in a better viewing angle. heh

This past weekend a fellow forum member passed through and wanted to trade hoods. I spent an hour or so clay bar-ing it and waxed as well. here are the results

I approve

I'm interested to see how your v-mount handles the heat on the track... my setup was horrible, but I think yours is ducted a lot better than mine is.
