So, I bought #10. S5 TII content

I bought my 10th FC yesterday. I picked it p with the help of Pele's Trailer and a couple other friends. It's an '89 TII that's all stock besides a JDM engine the PO put in with a friend and could never get to run right, and an ABS delete kit. It came with te I'd disassembled engine, trans and ps pump etc.

It's white with a blue leather interior, It's been re painted once, and it is rust free besides the sunroof and a spot on the drivers door! It even as the OEM radio.

So far I've cleaned it up and started to assess the mess under the hood. It's going to take a while to figure out. The wiring harness is rough, and all the vac lines are screwed up. It's not my first S5 TII, but progress will most likely be slow due to other things going on. It's got compression and it seems strong per hand turning the e shaft with ATF poured into the rotor housings.

I gotta read up again, but I think I'm going to keep the OMP and do an emissions delete. I might pick up an RTek 1.8 if I have to and delete the OMP if Im not having success.

Here is a pic from the trip home. Guess the mileage on the chassis!

Great find. How much did you pay?

A white S5 is something I'd like to own again.

When I start getting to work on it I'll get my camera out. Righ now here's a cell phone pic of the interior. It needs some leathe conditioner and a good cleaning. Everything else is in good shape!

Woohoo!
Pele came over today and we got all the boxes out of the car so I can clean up the interior later. He also brought his compression tester. It took a while to get all the ATF out that I pu in and we couldn't get it to crank at 250RPM(all my spare batteries were low). We eventually got it to run on starting fluid and then pulled some numbers, they look good! Pics are below! I'm going to send out a set of injectors to get cleaned and then do the emissions delete in a couple weeks.

We also powered up the body, all lights work, the headlights stay in the up position and the wipers run steady when the key is on. Everything else works well! Those two things will b easy fixes.

Smokin' up the garage and house!
