RX8 Instrument Cluster wiring with engine swap

Good Day, I have recently purchased a 2008 Mazda RX8 and immediately realized how unreliable the RX8 engine is and how difficult it is to make more power. In the short couple of months I have owned this vehicle I already am in the process of rebuilding the engine. I would really like to swap out this engine and replace it with any of the following engines: 1. RX7 13B, 2. Rb28DETT or 3. SR20DET. My main concern is getting everything on the RX8 instrument cluster to work with the engine swap and also for everything in the vehicle to remain functional. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I believe people leave the stock ECU and wiring in the RX-8 to run the "everything" and put in a stand-alone with harness or patch harness to run the transplanted engine.

You use the sensors off of the original 13b-MSP on the new engine for everything to work in the car and then whatever sensors you want for the ECU to work.

13B-REW is the most documented swap and has all the special parts needed available.

There's a few REW swap threads over on www.rx8club.com in the engine swap section. I believe Adaptronics is working on an ECU that will interface with the RX-8's CAN bus system. Though not sure if that will run an REW or not. The info on RX8club.com seems to only show it running a 13B-MSP. There is a full REW swap package for sale over there as well. Here's the link: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-s...rt-out-266071/.

The new Adaptronic Modular S1 PNP Rx8 ecu will keep everything working on the stock cluster, etc and allow you to run any of those engine swaps mentioned;

Adaptronic Modular Mazda Rx-8 PNP ECU

What about the power steering, speedo,oil temp and RPM. How are those going to work if the speedo and rpm are not electronic on the other engines?
