Replacement dash fab

So the dash trim in my 87 was all cracked when I bought it and I had some extra time to fab up something to replace it.

I went out to the car and marked up a cardboard template for the new insert
I decided to use 1/4 in plexi glass to hold the radio, gauges, etc.
Here's what I came up with. Please leave some feedback on what you think. Click the thumbnail if you need it bigger.

*I will of course be covering the plexi with either faux leather or black vinyl wrap

It only matters how it looks in the car, so let's see some photos of that.

haha Yah I understand that but it'll be a few days before I can figure out how to mount it securely. Plus I need to fab up a bottom piece to connect the radio trim to the shifter trim. Some gorrilla glue, vinyl wrap, and plastic clips and it should be ready. I'll post a pic of the mock up in the car within the next day or two.
