The Plan so far is to send the housings to goopy for them to work their magic, S4 N/A rotors which Agreen got for free, they are in good shape. I am also using the Mazdaspeed parts program, which seems to have pretty good discounts.

this stuff just got ordered from mazda.
list MPP total
12 SPRING,SIDE SEAL Part No : N326-11-C17 UPS $2.84 $1.71 $20.52
12 SIDE SEAL Part No : N3Y1-11-C11 UPS Ground $16.74 $10.04 $120.48
6 APEX SPRG Part No : N326-11-C04A UPS Ground $8.93 $5.36 $32.16 6 SPRING,OUTER Part No : N326-11-C06C UPS Ground $9.59 $5.76 $34.56 12 SPRING,CORNER SEAL Part No : NF01-11-C24 $4.40 $2.64 $31.68 Estimated SubTotal $239.40 Tax: $16.76 Shipping: $10.21 Estimated Total $266.37

The springs are the FD springs. The MPP is the Mazdaspeed parts program price. Since I plan on autocrossing her. I only stuff that is covered for auto is engine drivetrain and suspension. I think brakes are covered as well. or any competition part. I am not sure if it is in bad taste or not to say how much I have spend, but I am trying to help others.

So the question now is to port the engine or not to port the engine. I would like more power but I dont want to hurt the mpgs or driveable of the car.

I remember a Jeff Foxworthy joke from years back...

"If your wife has ever said, 'Honey, come move this transmission so I can take a bath!'....."

Well, you know the rest

A little update.

Sent the housings to goopy The number 1 Turbo housing and my old number 1 N/A housing. Goopy told me that the turbo housing wasn't going to turn out that great and that the housings I sent would have different timing due to the locating of the spark plug holes. He was able to find me another N/A housing core and didn't change me. I should get the Gasket kit from mazda and the housings back next week. I have Ultra Racing fender bars to install. Maybe this weekend since the front bumper is off.

WeWe got the fender bars on. We had to fish the bolts thru holes with fishing line.

I also removed front bumper parts to make the front mount install easier.

I got the housings back from goopy as was as thier apex seals. The housings came back clean but they were N/A housings so after my failed attempt to remove the exhaust sleeves I give it to Agreen to do. I broke three taps trying to do it. The housing came back media(?) blasted, looked good but I am not sure about the edge scoring. Agreen seem less impessed. We will have to see what the compression numbers look like. I was able to crappy rattle can the center iron ford blue I ran out of time to paint the other two. Agreen has something coming up so he need the stuff asap so he could get the Keg together.

As it turns out, the top one is about 50% thicker. It's a JDM TII sleeve, and the lower one is a modified NA sleeve. So what that means is that the damn thing won't fit. I'm going to have to modify the other NA sleeve. Dammit.
