I miss the clean look on 16's sometimes. These wheels were sadly stolen along with my brother's 10th AE

Hate thieves... Learned my lesson when I got my 610 coupe stolen.
when my Datsun got stolen it allowed me to make an irresponsible car purchase.

Back O/T

Got some ssr lug nuts and new koyo rad in the mail yesterday. Also scored some used fogs that should be coming in fairly soon

Aluminum ssr lugs next to some project mu lugs I might toss on if I ever have a need for extended studs.
Shot of them on the wheels with my koyo dual pass rad in the background

Another pic of the dual pass radiator
Got my fogs and some other goods from Banzai Racing in.
Today's agenda is an easy and simple engine bay clean up

How are you liking that new radiator? I'm looking to get a new one for my build just was looking for some input on these.

Visually it looks great, just feels quality in your hands. Im sure with proper ducting and a fan it should be overkill for my setup. 10/10 would recommend. My only complaint is the finish is less than mirror. Should buff out nicely with some polish though

Shout outs to Banzai for the hotwheels fb! Haha you guys are so rad

~dual alternator pulley
~misc delete plates
~omp delete

Fog light set I will be reconditioning whenever new bulbs come in the mail.
Still waiting on the turn signal assemblies to come in the mail too but the new lenses sure are a nice back up to have just in case

This month is going to be mostly dedicated to getting this engine bay prepped since I need to pay off some debts..

This was a while ago after cleaning up a rats nest of aftermarket wiring.

Here she is cleaned up a slight bit more with the dual belt pulley installed and the air pump and ps pump removed.

Broken omp line, hoping it's not too late but eh not a big deal

Wish I could have a section of this thread dedicated to the silly things I find from the PO... This can't be stock...
Why would you ever want to tap into the air pump!? there's bolts on the underside of the intake tube as well smothered in silicone

Also found an exposed vac hose for the cruise control and plugged that up

Yeah, your refurb work on the fogs is admirable.
Too bad the factory fogs are so pathetic that you'll never know if they're on or off.

Very interesting. I did the same with my fog lenses and yours turned out much clearer, at a glance, than mine. May just be the angle of the picture. Thanks for giving me another reason to go back over mine haha. It's looking good, keep up the good work. The more time you take on the little things will reflect in the end.

Its funny how this is becoming a thing now. I just polished all but two of my plastic lenses around the car and I can honestly say that akomix has a valid point.
Keep up the good work man it's starting to show.

More progress, it's still very grimey. Did the s4 have a manual rack with a/c option?
Might section off the ps bracket and weld a bracket for the a/c pulley (keeping a/c)

Relocated some wiring and other small things

Action shot of the banzai block off plates but I need a gasket for the acv, fuel injector wiring courtesy of the previous owner once again.
Will have to redo the harness and injector o-rings

Trying out Lamin-x for the first time, $18 shipped for two 4"x8" squares and a gold squeegee card.

Got some fog bulbs as well that need to be modified, hoping for nicer weather soon so I can continue
cleaning up the engine bay outside

Yes, they did. I don't think the bracket is all that easy to come across, but there are some out there.
