alright, got some work done today finally, i was waiting for the inner tie rods from worldpac.
so, in receiving the inner tie rods, i noticed they looked different. well, they were. the threading was 2x as long as the original, and therefore would not work with the outer tie rods from mazdatrix.
here is what i had to do:

and here is the inner and outer mated, looks awesome

the suspension/steering all done

the angle would be better if my wheels wouldnt hit the lca

oh, and i finally got my exhaust fixed. it kept breaking exhaust hangers, and was hanging too low.

still need paint, but this car is way too much damned fun to drive at this point

****** A.
on my way to work this morning, clutch is making bizarre sounds again, 2 blocks from work. BAM, no clutch.
pilot bearing detonated and nearly took out the input shaft on the transmission, luckily, i work right next door to a trans shop, and theyre taking care of the work for me this time.
this is the 5th time ive had to take out the trans, 3rd pilot bearing.
had to order the pilot bearing and seal from mazdatrix, parts were 10$, shipping is around 30$ for overnight parts.....I LIVE IN NORCAL, WHY IS IT 30$ IN SHIPPING?!?!
im seriously sick of dealing with mazdatrix, but unfortunately, theyre the only ones that have most of the parts i need
sometimes i wish i had a chevy

I'm always weary about my pilot bearing too, I replaced mine once and sometimes when I get on it,the trans feels the same as when it was bad but to a lesser degree.

Hey Lloyd are you running rack spacers to get that extra angel? Also how much were those inner tie rods? I pretty much have to do the same thing.
