I don't know if your trying to dip a big stereo but if not i'm sure the thinner 1/8" would be ok just for road noise. Maybe the 1/4" to be safe but you won't need the extreme or any thicker one unless you plan on throwing in 2x 15"subwoofers

nope no woofers i personally grew out of that stage when i was 16/17...
thanks for the info!!!

I plan on still painting the entire inside with a single stage so it is the same color as the exterior.

anywho a little update...

I have finished blasting the subframe(s) cross member and arms and plan to take them to get powder coated this week!

Black is the color of course!

Finally got to work a bit on the 7

So as I dropped the front the other day I got a chance to sandblast it and get the rust off and a majority of the paint...it is good enough for what it needs to be for it to be powder coated...

BEFORE

AFTER

So this may be a "noob" question, but....what is this thing?
It connected to the fuel tank if I recall...

good shot of how bad the rust is on the bottom

anyways....
got the harness out finally!!!

ANDDDD
finally got the rest of the sound crap off the floor

Just a little work completed tonight...

I plan on not having a sunroof...anyone have their input on that? I Think I will just have it welded up with a sheet of metal...

Why would I use it right? plus the run offs for water drain is pretty lame spot...

Little update.....
Bought the following parts this week:
Max competition coilovers
Mazdaspeed subframe bushings
Mazdaspeed differential bushings
RacingBeat front and rear sway bar end links
RacingBeat DTSS eliminator kit

I'll post pics whenever I get time. It's been a crazy past couple of weeks. I finally found out how mice had gotten in the fc. More cutting and welding ahead in the rehabilitation of the fc

little update..

So I have been procrastinating on my fc lately...

I barely just finished sand blasting everything except the rear control arms...going to hopefully get them finished by Thursday...then take them to get powder coated within the week...

Anyways....Since I am running extended studs I picked up some FD rims tonight for $280.

I plan on having a few sets of rims, but as of now these will do. I would like to put wide fenders (both rear and front) but not sure if I need to cut the rear panels or not....

Anywho... here is some pics

In the middle of blasting...

my FD rims

anyways...soon I will start putting things together and get people on this sites attention

thanks for lookin let me know what yall think

YES I AM CHANGING THE COLOR OF THE ENGINE BAY LOL

i did not realize how non matching it was until after I put my subframe to it lol

depending on what I paint the car it will change accordingly next year when I paint it over (need to just get it rolled in the shop now to do some welding and other crap)

Thanks I appreciate it. I'd lOve to work on it more to finish it, but sadly with school and kids I haven't been able to. Maybe when I graduate and have a break before law school I will be able to...maybe...hhaha

I say you make all different parts of the car different shades of that base color. I think that would look really fricken cool.
