i have and air impact as well, but i find my electric can get a lot of real stuck stuff off that the air can't. also it really helps that you can blast it for extended periods of time without running out of air and losing torque.
those bolts have rubber bushings around the sleeve they sit in to allow the DTSS link to move, so i'd be very careful with a torch around there (unless you're putting in solid bushings, then fly at 'er).
when you're cranking on the bolt, is it stuck solid (like the threads are seized into the subframe side) or do you get a little play and bushing movement (like the shaft of the bolt is rusted into the sleeve in the DTSS bushing)?
one of mine was seized into the bushing itself and the spongy action of the bushing made the impact gun useless. i had to get a buddy to hold the breaker bar on the bolt while i yanked like the dickens on a 3-4 foot pipe extension on the breaker bar.
i dunno about crayon wax on the threads, if penetrating oil isn't getting in there, i don't know what some melted crayola would hope to accomplish.. but maybe it's a fancy trick that i've never heard of

I got them out finally....my dad came over and we heated them up with the torch....took only about 2 minutes....
Ill be uploading pics as soon as I can...I'm in the process of getting the parts ready for powder coating....and I had to return the 5 lug I got from the first eBay buyer because he was an @$$....got my refund and picked up a 5lug from a turboII 87 for over $100 less than my first ones ahhaha
Plans for the brake system:
ARP 2.5" wheel studs
upgrade rotors (not sure what kind yet)
upgrade brake pads (EBC Greens)
new bleeders
powdercoat the calipers
and obviously the racingbeat DTSS eliminator
I've got two bundles I plan on getting from corksport.com and racingbeat.com next paycheck(friday)
Ill keep you updated...thanks for looking!

yea me either.....going to be a while....it goes into blastmasters in august/end of july???.....a few months after I planned on ...but with school and crazy amount of reading and work and kids I find little time to work on my baby...I haven't even got the front bumper off...or the fenders...or the motor/tranny....
