SO we all like updates and its been awhile so its time to share again.

I had debated off and on what to do with ecu management. There had been talk on here about making the stock ecus adjustable and after waiting, getting one of the boards. I chose to go a different route all together. I went MS3X. After two saturdays of"Oh it will run today" It finally ran, after I fixed my relay wiring. Seems even by tagging them I can mange to wire the relay powers wrong.

Dont let the pretty photo fool you. Thats now at all how my ecu area ended up looking like. After having to go back to the relays, it was no longer so neat looking. Oh, and fyi, even though they say all the squirts are up to date when they are sent out. Mine was at least 1 firm ware version behind.

Still working on the cruising tune, oh and yah, thats an LRB Speed panel. It helpped a ton with coolant temps. Now I just need to track down a reverse vented hood to help with it even further.

Seems my pictures were too big? oh well. I will need to trim them down I guess.

Another long delayed and needed update. Ive been debating and thinking for some time over what turbo to go with. An while everyone is jumping on the borgwarner ship with the sxe etc... I was looking for something else.

I found it when looking over turblowns website. After talking with Elliot, I chose to go with a tdx61 for the low midrange power and the water cooled center section. The next issue I was going to run into was wastegates and a manifold. So, with a friend and shop owner, we set to work.

Using two tial mvs and not using the water cooled setup for the gates we came up with this manifold design and setup. Fits very very well.

Those WG Tee's are nice. Still 90 degrees to the direction of flow, but the smooth Tee transition should help to keep creep down.

I haven't seen any creep yet, then again its only on 10psi. I need to talk with the local dyno owner and see what it would take to get on it for awhile and work on it.

Well. It finally happened friday night, mid pull at the track my map reference came loose. (past clamp and zip tie) and while still in boost the map jumped timing back up to a negative while in boost and sent timing through the roof. No more compression on the rear rotor

It's been awhile since I have updated this. I ended up with a zero mile jspec rebuild with a lot of other odds and ends in the engine.

Dressing the engine in my bay

It fought tooth and nail to go into its new home

Been going at it awhile now with megasquirt and the tuning of fuel trims and it seems just as I get happy with the fueling. The motor breaks in further and I have to readjust the map again. My next quest is getting the MAT settings right as a cool morning and my fueling is waaaaay wrong, overly rich

So corrected my overly rich issue. Was more of ASE and WUE settings.

Now the next fun bit. Long loads in boost I build a ton of temp in the coolant system to the point of me being uncomfortable. The heater core was removed from the system. The ports physically welded shut/blocked off. Coolant still flows through the turbo. Essentially the only things getting coolant are the radiator turbo and engine. Thermostat is new OEM. I do have a large front mount. I do have the belly pan installed. I do have an LRB cooling panel. I do have villager electric fan on the engine. My next steps is to build ducting from the intercooler to the radiator to see if that helps before I condemn the radiator.

So for 7s day my wife and I took the day and hit the Blueridge Parkway. It allowed us time out and about and me time to work more with the fuel tables in boost.

Coming out of the blueridge parkway tunnel

Put the car on my alignment rack at work and holy cow was I amazed it remotely drove straight.

I continue to address odds and ends with the car, fueling is now pretty well set. An breakin of the new engine is complete. Tested my launch control settings and nearly scared myself with how loud and violent it was.

My LRB belly pan is set to be here Friday and I plan on installing it and building my coolant duct tunnel at the same time for the radiator.

For those interested. Tire Rack might be the OZ Racing dealer here in the states, but their support is horrendous. "We cant help you if you didn't buy the wheels from us and you can't give us the part number of the wheel." Their is no part number on the wheel. Verified that from OZ Racings web page. I'm trying to find some place to either get a hub centric ring or spacer that will make a better fit of the the Superleggeras
