From N/A to Turbo: My new Turbo II

Freshly reupholstered leather goods courtesy of Mr. Matt Hulan (Hulanfd3s) here on the forums. Anyone interested in getting work done I highly recommend sending a message his way.
I chose to have them done in a classic black leather with white stitching. My factory MOMO had white stitching, and wanted to bring this back with a bit of a "punch." I have more in the works for the interior, but for now..... just take a peak at the awesome job done.

Back finally!!! My apologies for the lack of updates. School took over for the last few years and I'm now graduated! Small update, but will have more soon!
I've always wanted a factory license plate for the car. In many of the Japanese press shots, you see these plates on the car.
These would be a great addition for going to shows, taking photos etc. So, I created the design via Illustrator and generated a vector file for vinyl printing. From there, purchased a bulk of blank license plates and then applied the graphic to the blank plates. Very satisfied with the result!
And just a few pics I snapped of the car . Next will be the installation of an ARC Top mount and hopefully some suspension work!

My goodness, this brings tears of joy to my shriveled up eyes. There's a certain joy in quality bolt-ons, as well as clean execution in general. Although I have to agree with clokker... What on earth is with the useless intake tube on the radiator?
Considering the glaringly bright air filter, I don't suppose you intend on making the engine the least stock-looking part of the package? If not, a black filter might go a long ways to making it more subtle and stock-looking. That, and hood dampers. Hood dampers might be the only thing I would change about this car.
Beautiful car, irrespective of my misplaced grumblings!

The box makes sense. Although, I'll be honest, the intake snorkel wasn't exactly Mazda's greatest show of engineering competency. I'd have personally ditched it, since it's one of the few laughably bad designs where an ebay air intake kit will actually have a positive effect.
If you're concerned about the missing snorkel making the engine bay look "incomplete" because of the fan shroud, I'd say an electric fan is in order. A Taurus/Villager fan would keep things looking "factory-made", unlike an overly shiny aluminum shroud. You'd have plenty of space for that intake box as well. Either way, it seems you have access to good fabrication capabilities, so I'm not concerned that whatever you choose to do, it'll look mint.

Thanks pzr2! I've been contemplating an electric fan, I've read tons of good things and it's been on my radar for some time now.
Side marker update! I received the first prototypes in the other day. Cleaned them up and tested them for fitment. There are some tolerance issues that aren't allowing the housing to "socket" into the marker as I intended, so I'll be making a few changes for ver.2. Thanks for looking!

First round of parts came in for the center caps. Because these wheels are near extinct, finding center caps are nearly impossible.
So, did a round of sketches to design my own for the car! I've done my best to keep to the original, and soon I'll have the finished machined parts in.
