From N/A to Turbo: My new Turbo II

I purchased this from an adult women who needed the space in her garage. It was clocked at 147xxx kms when purchased with 25 000 kms on the rebuild. The paint's original, which looks pretty solid minus a couple dings here and there. my plan is to make this into a nice little gem. I restored my factory cd player from old FC, and swapped my mazdaspeed strut bar from it as well. I still need to swap my factory aluminum pedals into this as well. I also need to fix the antenna which some ******* in hamilton decided to snap. Here are my plans so far:

TII lip
Re-paint bumper and TII hood trim (They're a bit faded compared to the rest of the vehicle.
Rotary Performance Economical Exhaust
Downpipe and High-flow cat
HKS ssqv
Re-stitch leather and re-dye it
New leather on steering wheel
Racing Beat suspension package

Here are the pics!

It's a 90' good sir.

And about the pedals, they we're purchased from RHDJapan, they had a big stock of them a few years ago. They had about 30 sets, but once they were gone they were gone. I tried to inquire about them for a few members here on the board, but had no luck.

Now that the summers rolled around, I got some nice things for the car.

Tune-up parts and interior goodies:

JDM Windor Visors:

HKS Turbo Timer- I didn't really want this to be showing as I want to keep the car looking 99% original, so I decided to hide in the ash tray. But I didn't want it to just fling around inside, so I made a template for it to sit in (I used an old broken ash tray so I wouldn't have to be going in and out of the car constantly):

closed (As you can see it fits perfectly):

Open:

Did the fogs with Transparent Yellow to give that nice JDM look:

I also picked up a vintage HKS Boost Guage which hasn't been installed but hopefully will be shortly:

And just a nice picture of the interior

if your going for a original look, id undo the smoked lights, esp since you yellowed the fogs, would look soo much better.

I used illustration board, and than sealed it just in case if ever got wet.

So I picked an HKS BOV for my car (The old school one) But, I'm having some issues getting it to work. Since it's been installed, the car can't seem to idle. It just dies. I know it's a vacuum issue but I'm not sure what. Is there a specific way it's suppose to be hooked up? I've searched but have yet to come up with a solid answer or picture of what is to be done. Here's a thread for reference of what I'm talking about.

I had a used hks on a gti i had and it didnt run good at all when i put a vac to it, but then i left it off (capped), and the car ran fine and the bov worked fine. So i found the problem that the bov it self is the leak with the vac hooked up...probably been beat up to much so it doesnt stay shut when you turn on the car.

tried that. The bov works, works really well, but only when we tested it. If anyone has a pic of this set-up or knows exactly where the vac lines go please post!
