Hi my fellow rotary fanatics! I'm hoping someone can help me answer thos question. On my 86 NA body I have a hose broken off its plastic nipple. In this picture it is part number 42-565. The Mazda dealership of course can't get the part or tell me what it is for. I was wondering if I could cap it off, as I believe that is what the part does and just wanted some clarification. I checked on the inside of the car and the part doesn't seem to go anywhere but against the frame. If anyone can tell me what this hose does and if it is ok to cap it off that would be awesome! I just don't want my car to blow up but it smells really rich all the time because I believe it isn't being capped off.
