Talking Fc highschool nostalgia project

Hey everyone. Been 17 years since i owned a rx7. I had a 1989 fc convertable in highschool. Met my now fiancee in it. Her gift to me as our anniversy was this car!! So I Just picked up a 1987 turbo2 fc, previous owner put a na motor in it, so i will need to swap that put sooner or later for something with more umph

Pros: turbo2 car, lsd, tien coilovers, longtube header, single exit exhaust, solid mounts. Runs and drives

Cons: body is rough, paint damage, exhaust leak, coolant cap leak, maintance etc.

Well day one of build thread

She has been neglected for some time, pretty nasty and dirty

Changed the o-ring gasket on the thermastate housing no more leaks, took the exhaust off, time to replace all the gasket, put factory exhaust on for smog, and clean/ brilla pad the whole engine bay!!!!!!!!

Looks way cleaner now!
