Dropped rear Rotor
Hi guys would like to share my little build...After my 1991 Mazda RX-7 FC3S dropped its rear rotor due to suspected over boost or was just its time, I embarked on complete engine rebuild. After some attempts to DIY it with cheap parts and not wanting to spend much $$ the results wern't quite as I expected so the decision was made to get new parts and get a professional to complete the job, but I must say will all be worth it. I'm all for doing as much as I can in my own garage, but handing it over to the experts seeing it come together still can feel just as good as doing it yourself without the heart ache, and sore back! The old saying do it once do it right was in my mind during this dicision not the extra $$ I will have to fork out. At the end of the day there will be no compromise in going down the road of brand new parts to cutting corners with cheap parts, and your Rotary will love you for it. That is what I have learned, go the extra distance spend more on where it matters, theres no substitute for quality, especially for our dear friend the Rotary engine. So here are some pics of the 7 month journey so far (waiting on parts is a tiresome process), she's almost there, will add more pics in the coming weeks. She should be running next week, very exciting times ahead.
New engine spec:
Series V 13B block, full rebuild, new housings, stage II street port, enlarged exhaust ports, low comp series IV rotors, 3mm apex Aviation super seals, custom JTUNE FD intake manifold, custom JTUNE FMIC setup, Garret 35/40 Turbo, Turbosmart external wastegate, Greddy Type R BOV, 4x1000cc ID injectors, Speedflow lines and fittings, AEM fuel reg and pump, OS Giken twin plate clutch, Apexi Power FC.
Cheers guys, mine is not the most amazing of builds compared to some on here which I take my hat off to, your patience and time spent on your projects is respected, wish I could do the same. But hey I'm more than happy with my seven, she keeps me happy.

cheers, ahhh what an idiot, ha sorry man, overlooked where was posting, face palm!
Yeh I had a donor pair of good condition Rotors already 3mm, and low comp compared to series V's so decided to use em for better turbo reliability other than that no real reason. I will be running 7psi run in tune then up to 1bar, which the 3mm will handle no probs. Brand new housings from Japan already ported.
