Daeity's FC Build

Just picked her up and drove her home Super happy about it too
Now its time for the build process. Goal is to use it as a drift mobile. So if any of you want parts of the interior let me know.
TO DO:
Oil change
Rad flush
New Rad
Power steering
Air Filter
Air Compressor belt

Thats it for now until its nicer out

On to the pics

Love that burgundy color and pink butterfly seat covers...... >.>

More butterflies

Car is so hardcore it has a "PRO" and "Metal" button

There is dirt everywhere, in the overflow tank for the radiator, Air filter, intake, etc. I mean EVERYWHERE!!!! GRRR!!!!!!

Do you think I should send the motor in to make sure its not full of dirt too?

Well I tried to put the Air Compressor belt on and boy was that a pain in the butt

Thinking about just removing the A/C entirely from the car. No sense in having a creature comfort when i never use it.

This project seems a little-no, make that a lot- disorganized.
If you suspected dirt in the engine, why have you changed the oil?

Have you had the subframes off?
How are the bushings, the brakes, the chassis in general?

The car has clearly been neglected (fortunately, it appears the neglect has left the engine bay very original) and should be considered suspect until proven otherwise.

There is no point bolting bling to the outside till you've done the crap work on the basic chassis.

For the most part it is disorganized but it will become organized once i know what i need to replace and what i dont. Got the car last weekend so its still in its "holy crap a new toy" stage. But trust me it will structure out soon enough.

So over the weekend took a loot at the car more in depth and discovered it has more work than i anticipated. So now I am at a cross roads on what to do but i think that I will end up sending it in for a rebuild and do a full rebuild on this car.

Only thing is...I'd like to play around with turbos later down the road so what would be the better option? rebuild this motor or get a 13btt and send that in?

Look up doing a 6-port turbo, or just buy a JDM swap.
Also, the picture you took is of the air pump, not the AC compressor.

If you don't have much mechanical aptitude and are on a budget I suggest you cut your losses and resell the car. You needed to do more research of what your options are before buying that car.

Check out the FAQ and cruise the forum, most questions you will ask have already been covered.

Good luck!

Noticed that when looking through the manuals

Dont have much experience but i learn from doing and not from reading
I'd rather play with this car first so i have an idea and more experience when I eventually move up.

This forum is like an abyss of knowledge its just "how to get it" the better question.
