Of course any website that sells a turbo timer is going to try to sell you a turbo timer! lol - Let your car idle a bit before shutting it off, and your turbo will be just fine. I could see having one if you have an oil-cooled turbo... But we have oil/water-cooled turbos. I just removed my turbo-timer... It was just another fail-point. Drained my battery. Something came loose with the wiring, and it drew voltage even when the car was shut off. I only really used it for battery voltage display. The A/F ratios are narrow-band readings... Which are pretty inaccurate, compared to wide-band readings.

Anyway, great build! Car looks great and seems to be running nicely... It's nice to hear that you're getting a wide-band. Can't wait to see some dyno results. Thinking about a different turbo sometime in the future?

I been leaving the car on for a few mins depending on how hard i was driving, since its not tune i usually don't pass 4.5k rpm so 1-2mins. I have a microtec with the handset so it gives me my a/f meter, volt, rpm, ect on digital display.

Well for now i want to boost 11-12psi until i get the feeling since its my first car that i will track i want to get use to it, afterwords i will say in about a year or so i will upgrade to a bigger turbo to boost at least 17psi, will see when the times comes i dont want to kill my self yet

damn i dont have anyone to tune it at the min and i want to buy already my wheels/suspension

The locks on your hood look funny. :P

Sweet parts! Other than the turbo timer. I'm a lot more iffy about turbo timers... Especially after my bad experience with one recently, and the fact that our turbos cool faster anyway. Love the hood vent! How much did you get it for?... If you don't mind me asking.

we laughed when i put on the locks, they look like the car nipples lmao, actually putted today some really small ones from lockmaster

i know but i dont want to spend even 30sec in the car since sometimes i run late to work and if my boss see me still in the car he will be like wtf,
anyways paid $140 for the vent

@stonehac
thanks,

we were suppose to add everything to the car today but my friend had a hangover and i didnt wake up until 2pm lol and didnt have enough time since the sun goes down around 430,
never posted pics of my interior even thought I'm so proud of it but here they are, on the side note i will post pics of the hood tomorrow since the one i took it was pretty dark

the only rips on the seat are on the side leather which i will send for that small part to be re-done with new leather

Looks great! $140 is pretty reasonable for that vent... That last pic is really dark. Can't wait to see more of it. I like the interior, too. Can't go wrong with black... What kind of wheel is that? Momo??

the steering wheel is momo, its a little beat up I'm planning to get a momo red suede later on.

Here are the pic of the hood, we used rivets to mount it, i think it ended to far in the back but it was hitting the strut bar, i will probably buy another hood and re-do it since it was easy and simple just takes a couple of hours to do it.

That's not going to work alright for your V-mount? You could always modify the lower part of the vent by cutting a groove for the strut bar. If I am picturing what you said correctly in my head. It looks SO sweet, though... Very nice.

yes it does work with the v-mount the only problem you can see on the last pic the alternator and belt which will become wet when it rains and make noise, i was talking to my friends about making a small cover with a sheet of aluminum for the belts since i order a dual pully and brand new belts.
