89 GTUs AutoX and track build

So, I don't have a complete list of everything that's been done to this car, but my friend and I have a long history with it.
I originally bought it back in 08 with the intention of drifting it. Sold it to my friend a year later who did drift it, and modify it, and blow it up, and rebuild it and so on and so forth. Fast forward to fall of 2020, and he has had his fun and I was able to get it back from him, though minus a few parts. Like an engine. Over the last little bit I've been putting it back together in hopes of getting it back on the track at some point. Though I don't plan on drifting it this time around. Part of me would love to someday really restore the car, but that would be a huge undertaundertaking.

This is the condition i bought the car in

Then my friend had several good years of fun with it down in Arizona

This is how it was when i got it back

Not bad, but it needed an engine. Which i sourced out.

Started working on cleaning up the torn out interior and putting in LRB Speed parts.

Love how the LRB Speed stuff looks in here

Made a custom trunk carpet 😂

Tried cleaning up the mess of the interior, with its torn up carpet that I'd love to replace some day.

Threw on a pulley set since this engine we stripped down to nothing when i got it.

Painted the strut bars gold because why not

Currently how it sits, on the AUSDM FD RZ wheels.

As far as current work on the car, your eyes are not deceiving you, that is an S4 engine, in what is an S5. It was the only reasonably priced, potentially good engine I could find around within my budget.
Engine was formerly used in a track car, but compression tested good, so I'm not super worried
Engine has basically everything you can delete, deleted.
Gilmer belt and pulley kit
Straight pipe exhaust
RX8 seats.
LRB Speed aluminum interior pieces
K-sport Coilovers
Bigger sway bars (not sure the brand, maroon colored)
Poly sway bar bushings
Poly engine and trans bushings
Adjustable sway bar end links
Strut tower bars
FD RZ wheels
Rear steer delete
TII transmission
GTUs VLSD
Push button start
RE-Amemiya front bumper and side skirts

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Just needs wiring and a little more plumbing and bolt tightening to do, which should be finished up in the next couple months.
Goal is to have it running by May.
