ok so my names matt and im in the USAF and i live in san antonio. always wanted a rx7 especially now becoming interested in drifting, which my brother does in germany, also USAF, and so finally i saved enough to get a garage with my apartment and a 1988 fc. bought for 900 bucks and running. needs alot of work. currently in 1300 dollars mostly undoing stupidity of previous owner. my plan is to put about 5 to 8k into it with a tll swap, weight reduction, suspention, performance parts, wheels, ect... (race ready). this is my daily driver and have 162k on the odometer and counting.

i guess since the last owner saw rust from the paint peeling off all over the body, it would be ok to leave it like that. so after basic tune up(300 dollars), trust me i did alot, i bought some spray paint to hold it over till it gets painted.
