1990 Rx-7 FC GXL 357sbc / th-350

This build has been going since April 20 2013 . I have been on this site for information since then and you all are a wonderful help !
I'm adding progress pictures so far. This car is expected to be finished by December 2014 . If sooner, then great, no rush.

The vision of the car is Black with Green Accent colors.
Green calipers, seat belt harnesses, roll cage, led's for gauges.
Everything else Black. Its getting a 357 sbc (pulling on the 17th) 440hp at crank, all motor.
I'm using a TCI th-350 trans. Motor will be paid for next month, then Trans. needs to be bought.
Trans will be the last BIG PRICE item. Stay tuned for more to come with pics.
Ask questions and I'm going to be asking you all !

I also have this thread on Norotors.com

Just did some measuring and it looks like my radiator is going to be 24x16x3 or 24x18x3 to be flush with the bottom of front bumper.

Hey tricky. I spoke to you on the phone a month or two ago looking to pick up that rear carpet and meet at Cecil dragway. Looks like youre making quick work of the car! I assume I'll see you there in a few months

P.S...any of the black interior left? I'm looking for the overhead console, door vents, and the black weather stripping that seals around the door frame.

Tricky, I'll use you as pool of knowledge if I need to. Much appreciated. Build looks good so far. Any reason why you're using that tranny instead of a manual one?

Red Comet; using auto trans to keep the cost down. With 440hp I would need a t-56 6-speed. Also i didnt want to worry about burning clutches, ect. I am getting a th-350 w/manual valve body for a rachet shifter. So it is like a manual trans.
