No I actually bought that off of a guy complete idiot. Good deal for me though came with a lot of extra stuff but the trans was garbage not that I cared it was the na trans. He had everything baged up such as old apex seals and side seals and was like there still good u can throw em back in. Now sure u could if they micd out to be in tolerance but I went with all new seals everywhere. Im just not cheaping out with this build anywhere but anyway as I'm waiting for parts to come in updates might be slow idk if anyone is actually like following this but here is a picture of the two trial 38mm MVS wastegates.
Waiting on my an fittings hopefully they come in this weekend and then I'll update with the wastegates installed oil cooler lines and turbo feed and return lines finished up.

megasquirt isnt too bad, the FFE hall effect sensor replaces the CAS making the hardest part easier. a lot of people have a hard time wiring up the CAS and cant get an ignition signal.
I saw the listing on CL and it looked like a really good deal - but it seemed shady for the price. Glad you made out in the end!
Whitehall...isnt that right near blue mountain ski area? Maybe I can swing by some time if you ever need a hand.

Yea Whitehall is about 20 minutes from blue mountain and that would be awesome. All my friends a v8 guys so it'd be cool to have a fellow rotary guy to talk about the direction I'm going with the car and get some input... Where are you from?

Looks like its going to be a fun little car when its done. What are you planning to do for oil cooling?
When I was doing my build, I was going to go with the FFE hall sensor kit on an MS3X. Lots and lots and lots of stories of people having no start issues because the CAS wouldn't start showing ignition output til ~6-700 rpm and the car cranks at 3-400.

So it's been a while since I've posted soon to whoever might care here are some updates... I have primered and pained the cage even though door bars havmt been welded in I did it to prevent rust and after the wiring dash and controls I.e. wheel pedels and whatnot are installed I'll just sand the areas and weld it in
I mounted the water line bracket hoses and lines were fabbed up
Here's the Stewart ewp

This build is sick! I'm impressed as hell with your fabrication skills and the direction you've chosen for this car. Quick question, what made you go with the electric water pump?

Space space and more space space has been the issue the whole time with this project when looking at an empty engine bay I'm like hmmmmm tons of room for anything then it started with engine location in the bay...I wanted to keep the BMW stuff somewhat in its normal location so basically I was battling easy access to the oil pan and good shift *** location or loose those two luxuries and gain more room in the engine bay. Well I chose number one which let to less room up front and leas room for the turbo and manifold which led to remouvong the stock rad support then choosing to go vmount then loosing space for the stock water pump return line... Lol I know a lot but I knew this was gonna be a project going in and I wanted something real unique. Now as far as the ewp Stewart makes a damn good pump though pricey it's good I still am running a thermostat its hard to see in the picture but I have an inline thermostat housing. Plus extra cool down time while the engine is off at the track isn't really a loss as as efficiency goes there's a big debate on that but really I had no other choice in the matter... Plus in my opinion it adds that bad *** factor

I am in the tare down stage of the engine. It came out of a 91 but it had been built already so just going to bare block to paint it and get rid of the crap like the stock harness. I will be swapping it in the spring have a slightly different direction more of a crazy fun quick street car and occasional track use the car is solid that is why I'm keeping it a street car
