The "Rusty Deathtrap"
Well, I'm not sure exactly where this car is headed but I hope to chronicle its journey here!
Long story short: I had been planning to back-half my GSL-SE but was hesitant to cut it up. The week I had planned to pull it off the road indefinitely and dive in, this car popped up for sale!
It's a bit rusty, overall in questionable condition, but has only 100k miles on the clock and was cheap enough I won't feel bad if I ruin it. There's a lot of salt used on our roads so it has become very difficult to find FB's in good condition over the past 5-10 years. I've owned about a dozen FBs and this is mid-way when it comes to rust so I think it can be saved. Stay tuned, I'll get the welder fired up shortly!
This will be a fairly long-term project which I hope to share mostly through pictures, so here we go:
