i decided to take the GSL-SE out for a cruise. sadly, this is the first day the car has been out all year! im kind of a stickler as to when i take my nicer 7's out to play. i started by taking some engine shots then heading to the park. i cant describe how wonderful it is to have this GSL-SE. we've had some good times and bad but in the end, this car is such a wonderful machine and its so good at putting a smile on my face. there are few things in this life worth hanging onto, few memories that we will remember for the rest of our lives, and let me tell you, the rx-7 is one memory that will linger for years to come. it is by far "an enthusiest's dream come true"



















and it was off to the lake!







and finally back home to rest for a few.

i'm not sure there is a car out there that can do for us what the rx-7 does. its days like today that make me appreciate it more than ever.

i am taking care of the rust. its all VERY minimal and its surface rust. as for the horn button, i cant order a new one. i also cant order a new shift ****. im stuck with the awful faded burgandy

 

yeah. the wheels that were on the car originally were curb rashed bad! i had this set of wheels lying around, so i got some tires put on them and threw them on the car. i am looking for another set of SE wheels in good shape that i can put these tires on and mount on my car instead of the white wheels.

 

i guess if anyone reading this has a set let me know. im not that pressed about it enough to post in the anted section.
