I've been lurking for a while but have decided to do a post.

My RX7 is a barn find which I bought blind on eBay after it had sat in someone's shed since 1994.

being a UK car even though it's a S3 it has the 12A engine which turns nicely by hand so I'm hoping one of these days to start working through the wiring and hearing her start.

But 1st the body work..... Yep you guessed it... rust although nit as bad as i had expected despite a few suprises along the way.

For now I thought I'd post pics and you can let me know what you think.

You're certainly got your work cut out for you! Not being familiar with the UK specs, are those mirrors OEM?

 

yes they are OEM electric mirrors, doubt they work anymore TBH was thinking of having after market mirrors anyway. The car does look like this anymore anyway, I've done a substantial amount of work which I will update soon, she was Black originally so that is the colour she will end up
