Cool, really nice build.

How much would you ask for complete package of the widebody kit? Fiberglass or Carbon fiber.
|
I just found this thread and all I can say is keep up the incredible work. You have built one superb machine, can't be said enough.

oh how much hp are you pushing? Dont know the exakt amount of hp in the car, but can tell you that i'm running a large streetport, with 22psi of boost... So if someone wants to guess the number thats ok, but i dont know.. But that the engine is powerful is for sure. Keeping up on a Audi s1 at the track.. |

A update of the rear hatch
This is an early version of the hatch, was something i've put togheter just to see how it will look.. The one i Will be using will be produced during this week.. If i get time for it. The one on the picture might be for sale if anyone wants it... I would prefer to paint it though. Some air bubels in the edges as you can see on the pictures. |
thanks
Have to get rid of all this hevy weight pieces from the car you know.. So have to figure out how to do it without destroying the car or do things that makes it harder to drive the car fast around the track.. More will come;) |
I can help you shave off some more! For the tail lights, make a mold of the outside shape of it only. Then print a single or 2 layer carbon fiber sheet of them. Replace the original bulbs with leds that sit in a holder like this:
http://news.thomasnet.com/images/large/005/5270.jpg You can get the cool chrome looking ones like this: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/images/UCHB.jpg That'll help shave a few pounds. Also drilling a few more holes with a hole saw in the doors can get you a bit of weight off. Also I don't believe you did the wiper cowl in CF did you? That could be another thing on the list. |

The wiper cowl is'nt that heay in the beginning though, so not very much weight to save there. About the tail lights, as you can se that car is still registrated for the road, so I have to keep the tail lights like they are beacause of that.. But Iĉm thinking of the Dash, door panels will be in CF. The sunroof will be all CF. All the CF parts wont be made during the winter though, consentrates on the main parts and important things like the brakes and the rear axle now.. The driveshafts in the rear axle are twisted so the splines looks like threaded screws  So this is where the main upgrades are comming on this winter.. |
why can't you have the taillights done like that even if it going to be road legal? as long as you still maintain all the lights should be fine. Thats what I'm doing sooner or later.

LOoks good Roar! I need to get my d*** out of my gf and join you! Need a new bumper ;) Hehe, i agree on that.. The government of Norway realy does love cars.... NOT.... Everything you put on to your road legal car has to be approved from the government by that is stamped with a E.. That means the part is approved for use in EU. And Sindre.. yes, get you d*** out of that fun hole and get over here to make you a bumper now;) so you can get your daily cruiser on the road.. |
im in love with your car! amazing work man!
