My 83 GSL

Haha much better. It will grip in first gear now from a roll and hitting the throttle if its warm out. Haven't tried any quick shifts, but grip is there. Don't launch the car much either anymore.
Color is Formula White. Only available from 81-83 I believe. The later whites were never as creamy. Mazda color code I forget. Believe it's WT though. Have it at home

Next up is a custom set of coilovers for my car hopefully before July. Should eliminate suspension travel issues and allow me to go lower and higher than before. Think the rear I'm still going to use the re-speed spring and adjustable perch, but be utilizing a built shock with plenty of dampening options.

I got my custom one off BC coilovers in and installed. 32 clicks of adjustment each with new camber plates and mounting for FC style on the bottom knuckle. Completely bolt in. Fixed my issues too with the suspension up front causing full shock compression. Car feels completely solid now at all times! Spring is a 6k or similar to a 350 lb. spring weight from what I was told. I'm probably going to switch the spring to something more around 450. Then plan on something around 300 for the rear.
Car might be going back to paint now too. I ruined the two front fenders . Rolled them to get more inner tire clearance and it pulled out the fender too. I already got two new fenders from mazda and already have the inner lining cut out and rolled. Now if I wanted I could lower the car 1-2 inches more up front without rubbing.
Just need paint now lol.

Thank you!
More to come soon. Car is back in paint cause of my messup. Whole car is getting blocked now. Should be pretty nice

Thanks
Talking about XXRs? They have a wheel that looks just like a CCW Classic.
Appreciate it. I like the look of a nice drop and no crazy tucking tire or crazy camber. Car looks way aggressive from the rear.
Once molding is added i'll be taking off the dark tint too and going with a completely clear tint to give it more of a clean look.

I'm looking at Drag DR44 @ 15 x 8.25 +25
I'd LIKE to fit some 225 or 215's on there, however 195's seems to be what everyone goes for to squeeze wide rims on the fb.
Wow totally agree again on the tint-less. Clean and clear all the way! Everyone says I should tint - not my style! If anything i'd go for a light brown color, like the OEM sun roof

Thanks. This car has been tinted since I got it. I think no tint will change the look dramatically in a good way.
Appreciate the kind words! I miss the autobahns like crazy!! Trust me! In the end the brakes, suspension, and steering kills the old factory setup. So much easier to maintain and take out anything if needed. Plus, just cant beat the performance. Whole different car

Been awhile since I've had the car out of paint. Want to get a proper photoshoot on it soon to get some non phone camera pics. Here's what the car is looking like right now though. Same formula white color, but came out pure white. All German based paint and clear. Got the new side moldings on and window tint off.
