Let the 84 GSL Build Begin
Hello world!
Ok, the journey today (to deal for an 85 GS) ended without a deal.
So, let the build begin...
I recently purchased a 1984, RX-7, FB, GSL, 12A (as I've been told by members of this forum); red over grey (no grey seats).
I also have most parts, and burgundy leather seats, to make it red over burgundy.
The interior is totally dismantled. I'm going to spend the weekend going through all the parts, screws, washers, trim, coins,
buttons, and crumbs identifying, photographing, and cataloging everything.
The old fuel has been purged. The fuel lines, filter and system purged.
I started the car and ran it around the block. It held good idle, no discernable smoke out the exhaust.
After the inventory where should I start?
Looking forward to many interesting interactions here as I start my build.

i'm space limited, so while i usually go through the whole car, it is not at once. if the interior is out, i would start there, i just clean everything, old cars are gross

Cut a deal for four X rims, w/tires; and got a glass moonroof in the deal.
Back to the non-functioning pop-up headlights and power window motor circuits tomorrow.
Things are looking up!
