the broken pieces just shred everything, so figuring out what broke first is hard. it is weird that its just the one edge of the ring gear though, like the pattern was off or something.

Wow, I love this thread. As a Gambler 500 participant already, Lemons in an RX7 seems right up my alley. I sold my lifted Gambler FC to a guy in North Carolina who is building it into a Lemons car and it's gotten me thinking...

How much does it cost to get into, given that you need a bunch of safety stuff on top of the cost of a car?

it costs the same as any other racing series, really. you still need tires, a seat, a cage, helmet, Hans device, fire system, seat belts, window net.
we built this car so that we could also do NASA, or SCCA if we wanted. its just ugly on the outside

so we blew it up. we keep thinking the transmission, which is original is going to pop, but we broke the diff

we broke it, we were worried about the diff, cause it was a loaner, and blew the engine.
