Fb Autox/Street/Budget Build

I picked up a 1982 Rx7 two weeks ago for 965 bucks!
It hit a deer and the lights didn't work on it.

I got plans on doing suspension, brakes, maintenance, and tires before the Autocross season starts.

For all you honda heads here was my last build.

As of now I have lots of things I need to mess with to get the car running to its full potential.

Runs pretty rich
Sounds like an exhaust leak(small)
Leaks inside
Loose steering
Idles at 1300 Rpm's
Bad gas mileage

But other then that stuff its a super fun car and pretty quick and doesn't hard start

I dont know much about rx7's but I do know things about cars so If you guys see anything in my pictures please point them out. Im not sure if all my carburated things are all there and Im not sure if i have an aftermarket exhaust or not.
I have Gsl se suspension and wheels.

Give me constructive criticism!

Well I think my throw out bearing has gone bad because it is making noises with the clutch let out. It doesn't make the noise when the pedal is pushed in

Not a bad starting point, I do see headers on there, every thing else looks to be stock. Welcome to the fray prepare to explain yourself to your loved ones.

What's the color code as shown on the VIN plate in the engine compartment? Two digits, usually a letter and a number.

Strut towers. Dead giveaway. That and the firewall VIN plate is painted over. But the car looks like it has alot of potential. Welcome to world of rearwheel drive.

I learned at the age of 3 that front wheel drives suck when I gave up my tricycle

well got a decent list of maintenance stuff
Thermostat
Upper and Lower Rad hoses
Heater hose
Fuel filter
Diff fluid
Transmission Fluid
Starter
Spark plugs
New Tires!

anything else you guys would suggest for me to replace? I dont really know what is notorious to go wrong with these things beside the steering etc.

Also I took off my rear sway bar and I can feel a huge difference with that and new tires. No more over steer at all. Auto X next weekend!
