I had never owned a '7' before or driven this one of my dad's (he never let me), but when I got it running again and took off in it I fell in love with it. These cars are addictive!

..........................Today when rain let up We fitted the electric fan that came off a ford escort from pullapart and while Son was bolting it on I removed the starter and found selinoid to be going bad so called around and advanced wants forty and change for one so called Orilieys and they said 15 and change and will be in store monday..We still have alot of rewiring to do and I will probably do that when Son is at college during the week so I can concentrate more..

Nice! I like the fan idea. I'm gonna prolly switch to an electric fan.

It looks like u have wires going to ur trailing igniter
How do u have it setup? Trailing must go through the ditribitor first.

Both Ignitors are reading off the same pickup.I removed the other pickup.Mech advance is cooroded locked but idles as low as You want too goo and revs smooth past 6k but will fine tune this set up later.

Got the rearend out of the gsl now just got to swap out and then do some much needed brake work

Updated Clarion head unit installed.The wiring was like none ive ever experienced but took my time with it and retained all the factory wiring.

Very nice! Keep up the good work. Have you got any rusty parts to deal with? I figured out how to remove rust by electrolysis.
