Well a month has past and there's been a little work done and some big decisions made.

First the progress shots.

the bracing has been done in the cabin and added more to the engine bay

This one sort of explains how the floor replacement will work

the big decision, instead of replacing the quarters on my original shell, I've decided to use one of these two other shells I've got. (I'm dealing in 1st gen parts for a living at the moment).

Both of the shells have rust in the hatch area.
The yellow one (s2) is pretty good all round, almost too good to cut up (some one could return it to the road easily) its very straight underneath.
The brown one (s3) has more rust, but mostly in areas that I will be cutting out. The rear arches aren't cut on it, there's only 2-3 screw holes on each side, so removing the flares/kit is no big deal. It also has the factory sunroof.

I'm leaning towatds the brown one too, just because the yellow one is nice as is.
I'm not 100% on keeping the flares, but if I did I'd consider having it the same as dealer fitted kits were is Aus, like this brand spankers s2!

The sunroof on the brown one is rusted beyond repair, I'd love the glass moon roof but they're rare as over here, I'd have to plead with one of you guys to help ship one over :-P
