It does suck. I still haven't listed for sale just incase I can avoid selling. I cant even put a price on the car. All the time, effort, frustration, and beer alone make it priceless to me. I will try to keep it but who knows. It already needs repainted from some incidents where the car got scratched or dinked being in the garage near clumsy people.
As of right now whats left for it to be driveable is:
- Mounting and plumbing in the oil cooler with push lock fittings and hose
- Wiring up the efan relay
- Finish the fuel system
- Bolt the alternator on
- Acquire and mount the one piece sidedraft manifold for a 4 port 13B
- New brake rotors and pads and probably braided lines.
- Bolt on the driveshaft
- Hook up the tail lights and headlights and front markers
- Bolt on the power mirrors
thats about it.

Welllllllp this car now belongs to my buddy, and its about ready to run.
I however have had my son, which is awesome. But I need an FB bad. So I'm selling or trading my beloved bobber to get another.
I will post it for sale right here as well as in the non rotary section.
It is a 1980 Suzuki GS550 resto mod bobber.
It has 26k on the frame and 6k on the rebuilt engine. It is a hardtail. Carbs have been thoroughly rebuilt and tuned as well. Tires are good. Brand new cables, rectifier, stator, digital gauge LED marker, tail, and plate lights. It is tuned very well and is very quick for the engine size.
I love the bike and ride it quite a bit, But I really want another FB. Preferably a GSL SE. This bike is worth what a clean GSLSE is. I have went over this bike numerous times and it has ran beautifully.
Like I said, Really wanting to trade for a clean GSLSE or maybe even a GSL
I can also provide cold start videos, and ride videos on request.
You can text me anytime at 304-266-8360
Thanks
Dave
