84 g tii
Well the old Brown G is getting more power, after running a stock 12a then a drawthrough 12a we finally got a streetported TII setup with a hybrid turbo and a haltech E8. We have been plugging at this for the summer taking our time and hope to be fully completed by next summer.
Car as it sits has 5 way adjustable shocks, GSL rearend, Rota FB with NT01's, street ported S4 13b, TII transmission and a hybrid turbo looks like S5 with a big cold side.
Heres some pics,
old 12a still runs great
The empty bay, ready for a cleaning
The 13b
First step was to get the tranny semi mounted
First step, put 12a cover on
Then drop it in

Line up everything with the tranny and how it sits in the tranny hump
And butta boom done
Now to put stuff on the motor to mock up wiring and vac lines etc.
Not too sure of the origins of this turbo but it fits the stock S5 manifold and the cold side is alot bigger than the stock turbo
Move battery to rear passenger bin and mount the intercooler

Mount the Haltech in the glove box and sort then run the wires
Mount the rad and run the fan wiring
Put the interior back together
Now we are just waiting for an oilpan from a GSL-SE and a proper front engine mount instead of our modded 12a mount, Then it will be onto more fun like the exhaust, intercooler piping and tuning
