NY 83 FB thats getting pistons. (and a heap load of other things) yay!!

Quick back story. I bought the car in 2012 from some guy who had it stored for 12 years. Interior was crumbling apart and the motor way slow. Ripped both out and stuffed a V8 in it. Yea it sounded nice and did massive burnouts but I didnt care for the v8 all that much, so I ripped that out and sold it. It felt too much like a redneck thrown together hot rod piece of crap, honestly lol. I bought a parts car with a good interior. sadly the thing was so rusty I scrapped it, but dont worry everything usable was saved! only the shell was scrapped. It was BAD!

Now im here. sound deadening, clean wiring, proper suspension, and a SR20det soon to be the power plant. Keeping it Japanese and clean. Ive got a vision in my head of what its going to be when its done, and I plan to follow through. If all goes well financially of course.

A lot of my updates are going to be videos, but I will take some decent pics and write things out. This thread will get both

Cool project Dave,

It's always neat undertaking such a huge project. These nostalgic japanese turbo engines are perfect engines for these cars. The wiring isn't so fun but I'll be following this build for sure, hope things go well.

Thanks! I agree the wiring in the least bit of fun and I absolutely hate it, but its gotta get done. I think the SR20 will put out just the right amount of power for the chassis. Ive gotten some things done, ill snap some pics until I can get a video up.
