'83 for 50 MPG, big brakes,and more

I am concerned about airflow behind the fans, I need to build those radiator mounts, I need to get the a/c core in there, and I need to make enclosures so the air doesn't escape over or around the radiator rather than through it. You might try a 15-16 inch radiator, but I'm convinced this can still cool somewhat better.
The new M12 x 1.5 x 30, grade 10.9 bolts arrived, so here's a better view:

that's 5/8-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, roughly 1.375-inch in this case, with an offset of 0.106-inch.
Knowing the brakes can never be insufficient is worth the couple hundred extra dollars. The tires may prove to lack grip, but that's a separate matter. Likewise boiling the brake fluid.
